MCC is an object lesson in miracles, because the generosity of so many provides the means for God’s miracles to occur around the world, as they have since our founding in 1968.

While church tithes provide the largest share of the denomination’s operating funds, gifts constitute most of our designated funding for outreach and global justice ministries, as well as funding for resources supporting leadership development, spiritual growth and diverse ministries in local churches. We know it is most often there—in local churches—where lives are saved, spirits are lifted, hope is restored.

Beyond the local church, your gifts help MCC support a Global Justice program, our teams in Public Policy, Ecumenical and Inter-religious work, Church Planting and Theology—global work that is difficult for a local church to do alone. Your gifts enable these teams to advocate a vision of a life-giving, inclusive faith wherever LGBT people are threatened by religiously sanctioned violence or political and social repression.

While most people give to support current work, MCC also encourages gifts to our young and growing endowment. This fund is invested and will provide interest income for MCC forever. Our endowment can provide us with a future financial cushion in an economic downturn, and an asset to leverage when building our mission’s reach. As we deploy our planned giving program, we hope you will consider planning a gift to MCC’s endowment in your will as part of your estate plan.

MCC—ministries and movement—depends on us to respond to God’s calling to be the very hearts, hands and voices of hope for LGBT people, to advocate for our community and to celebrate our goodness in God’s sight. This is MCC’s mission.

Giving to MCC is easy and as a 501(c)3 your donations are tax deductible.
